When Aaron texted me saying, “When you said you wanted to shoot your sister’s engagement, were you serious?” I was admittedly a little bit surprised…but of COURSE I said “Absolutely!” He asked me to come to Timberline Lodge on November 17th and capture their big moment. I felt so special being able to watch her surprised face and tears, and both of their GINORMOUS smiles. I’m so happy I was able to capture some of that to share. The weather that day wasn’t great. With 17 inches of new snow in the 48 hours leading up to it, strong winds, and more snow expected, I asked my dad to drive me up there. It was fun to have him in on the surprise as well. Did I mention we had to hide in the trees? I felt so sneaky!! Because of the weather, I didn’t get as many of the shots as I was hoping for, but I can’t WAIT to shoot their engagement photos and capture so much more of their relationship.
Oh, by the way, she said, “Yes!”
